Fold

A continuation of my current series of work, I explore the concept of “surrender”, what this means to me, and how it relates to my life and practice. I find myself drawn to this term which generally has a submissive connotation to it but can also be construed as holding a lot of power. In my work, I attempt to explore the paradox that lies in the strength required when relinquishing control and take myself on a journey of attempting to unlearn mechanisms that have been instilled in me for as long as I can remember.
