Mickey Kaplan was born in the Panama Canal Zone, August 12, 1950. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1972 and a Master of Fine Arts degree in 1974, both from the University of Florida. His work has been exhibited in the United States, Europe and Central America.
