Love & Weeping Willow

They started talking, and soon discovered they had a lot in common. They both felt like outsiders, misunderstood by their peers and families. They both longed for something more, something deeper, something real.

They met under the weeping willow every day, sharing their thoughts and feelings, their hopes and dreams. They laughed and cried, they hugged and kissed, they fell in love. The weeping willow became their sanctuary, their witness, their protector.

But their happiness was not meant to last. He had to leave town, to pursue his career in another city. He promised to come back for her, to marry her, to make her his forever. She believed him, and waited for him, under the weeping willow.
