This first season of Genesis is called “Graphic Poetry”, and each of the 100 pieces in this season is a unique artwork that comes with one short poem (in the metadata). The art is created using photography and watercolor painting, later on edited in a style that has the intent of giving a bold visual to the poems. 

With an instinctive creative process, pieces are made by the refusal of any form of thought. Even though the process varies according to mood, feelings, and instinct, the style remains similar throughout the entire series.

Poetonic emerged as an art project shaped by enigmatic impulses that guide the artist, akin to an external puppeteer, blending chaos and consciousness to craft creations that defy understanding. Rooted in a break from traditional influences, the art rejuvenates practical and theoretical realms. Originating from textures captured in Shanghai's urban tapestry in 2019, Poetonic fuses visual and emotional expressions. 

Exploring the ways in which seemingly random and disordered elements can be weaved together to create something unique and meaningful.

S6 - SloPpi Poes

A photography collection based on Cork, which challenges reality to reveal unique beauty and personal meaning. Breaking free from societal norms of beauty, the images reflect the artist's identity by deconstructing everyday places.

S5 - Eolas

While I was at a gallery, I saw a statue of Venus and took a picture of it without giving it much thought. Later on, I read a book that explained how the feminine can be associated with Chaos and the masculine with Order, similar to the concept of yin and yang. The book, written by Dr. Jordan Peterson, inspired me to create chaotic versions of Venus, the goddess of love and a strong symbol of the feminine. 

S4 - Venus

This third season is called "Get Inked", mainly because of the large quantity of ink being used in every piece. Sound, memories, and gut instinct were utilised to achieve a fast paced workflow generating pieces that seek the opposite of perfection.

S3 - Get Inked

Season 2 is composed of 10 unique video art pieces. It was created with the idea of combining the worthless textures, graffiti, and shapes that could be seen on the streets with the priceless sculptures that could be seen in a museum. These two elements are separated geographically but it is hard to enter a museum in Cork without seeing or hearing or seeing some street art first. These experimental videos are the result of the tearing down of the walls of the Crawford Art Gallery to let the streets express themselves inside of it. With this in mind, I'll leave it to the viewer to create his own interpretation.
