Counterfeit

Pop Art is a genre of art that I was first introduced to at Junior school by a really cool art teacher, she introduced me to the work of Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol & Peter Blake to name but a few; the bold colours and simple structure just resonated with me.

Counterfeit is counterculture, and my exploration of the Pop Art genre based on a societies fixation on monetary wealth, coupled with the degradation of wealth through inflation, war and corruption; It is a time of mass FUD and psychosis from a society wanting it all.
