The body is the center of a study in which fragmentation results in fusion with natural elements, with organic elements and textures, which at first glance we cannot perceive in the most direct reality but to which, however, we are indissolubly linked and we ourselves as material beings born from the earth.
In a context where nature has ceased to be understood as the sustenance of our humanity, the work paradoxically aims to expose this very nature, showing models that are neither entirely human nor purely abstract energy, but rather hybrids in a non-place (neutral backgrounds ) that carries a certain melancholy for not being defined in an identity space of existence.



I´m a Spanish experimental filmmaker and digital artist. My technique is very transversal, covering different techniques from digital painting, photography, animation, motion graphics and cinema. My style could be defined as a mixture of cubism, collage and surrealism, artistic movements that I use to represent themes related especially to individual identity, the deconstruction of the human body and the enigmatic nature of memory. I also like to explore other themes such as absurdity, nihilism and the search for the meaning of existence, often from a comedic perspective.

The Abyss and the Skin

Starting from this premise, the artwork employs a fusion of techniques. On one hand, photography is utilized to capture the hyperrealistic essence of the concept. On the other hand, digital methods are harnessed to create textures and organic elements that sprout and intertwine with the depicted figure, often resembling traditional painting. As the final layer of artistic expression, and to introduce a secondary layer of abstraction, elements of collage and cubism are incorporated. These elements serve to evoke a sense of peculiarity and unease in the viewer, thereby fostering a connection with the emotional depth of the character within the composition.

The "Elements" collection reflects on the relationship of the human being with nature based on the five essential elements according to the oldest traditions: air, water, earth, fire and ether. It was the first Greek philosophers who first introduced these principles which still remain in universal culture as a poetic symbol of the essence of the universe. The human being is united to the essential principles of the cosmos and can´t be separated from them. The future of our species depends on respect for our primitive roots.

The “Elements” collection consists of 5 animations that represent each of these elementary principles. I invite you to discover the entire collection. Each of the proposals has been developed with a particular thematic background and a unique sound design.
