I have a deep fascination for the mysteries of reality and the intricate interplay of physical forces that shape our universe across all scales. From the intricate patterns formed by life to those emerging from microscopic to cosmic processes, this fascination has been a driving force in my work.

One pivotal moment in my healing journey occurred during a visit to the jungles of Peru. There, I experienced the profound effects of plant medicine, reigniting my inner light and inspiring me to create what I truly love.

All my current artwork is code based and on-chain within the Cardano blockchain, designed to function independently without external dependencies. This presents an enjoyable yet challenging task of crafting self-contained units for each piece. This necessity arises because each artwork must fit within a 16kb limit. From a coding perspective, this limitation reminds me of the PC demo scene—a community of creative coders who craft mesmerising generative art experiences that fit into remarkably small executable files.

A bit about my background: I've dedicated 22 years to the visual effects and gaming industry, serving as a visual effects artist, technical artist, and lead coder for various games. My work has spanned VR medical training simulations for healthcare professionals, requiring proficiency in languages such as C#, JavaScript, Python, and LUA. I've worked with tools like Maya, 3ds Max, Light Wave, and Houdini for 3D art in the past, though my focus has shifted!

This art collection explores interference patterns through the interaction of geometric shapes and a wide range of colour palettes. The spectrum of colours used varies from subtle to vibrant, all united by a transcendent theme that delves into the broader cosmos and our role within it. Each piece in this collection offers a study of the interplay between shapes, colours, and the universe's profound connections, providing a contemplative exploration of our place in the grand scheme of existence.

Innovatively, this project leverages BlockGen's cutting-edge functionality, employing the hash of each purchasing transaction to craft a truly unique work of art. Each purchase unveils a distinctive piece, exploring the vast realm of generative possibilities embedded within the algorithm.

The code that underlies this project represents the zenith of my programming expertise. In order to guarantee flawless print quality at high resolutions, it utilizes an advanced bucket renderer. This intricate process divides the artwork into manageable sections and meticulously processes each fragment. The result is a striking level of detail, enabling the creation of exceptionally high-resolution prints, with dimensions stretching up to an impressive 16,000 x 16,000 pixels.

Outer Boundary

This art collection showcases mesmerizing flow fields that evoke a sense of calm and tranquillity. The complex patterns, resembling ripples in water or swirling clouds, draw the viewer in and encourage a state of relaxation. They mimic the natural patterns found in the world around us, creating a familiar and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere that is both beautiful and therapeutic. The repetitive nature of the patterns can also be meditative, helping to quiet the mind and reduce stress levels.

This fully on chain project is a study into chaos mathematics. From the largest structures in the cosmos to the smallest in the quantum realm, mathematics is the language of our universe. Every single calculation is related to the next, and like the universe the whole system is interconnected and creates form through time and space. Like ripples in the sand shifting with ocean waves these patterns evolve into mesmerising formations. 
This project is here to show you that there is beauty in numbers dancing on the edge of form and chaos.
