The Venus flytrap's complex biology marks it as one of nature's most captivating plants, showcasing how flora can evolve to thrive in nutrient-scarce habitats by adopting carnivorous behaviors and preying on unsuspecting flying insects.

Zayne is no ordinary sloth; his genetics took a wild detour, making him more akin to a amphibian than to his sloth brethren. Unlike his kin who lounged in the treetops, Zayne's youth was spent in the watery embrace of the local turtle gang, where he honed his swimming prowess. 

It was during one of these aquatic escapades that he met a dynamic duo of salamander brothers, hailing all the way from Southern Texas. These siblings were musicians at heart; one wielded the guitar with finesse, the other was a master of the drums. Yet, their band was missing one crucial element: a lead singer.

As fate would have it, Zayne, with his lungs expanded from years in the water, possessed an extraordinary voice. His singing was not just remarkable for its strength but carried an old-soul quality that resonated deeply. With Zayne's voice, the trio found their harmony, and thus, the genre of Sloth Rock was born.

Far from a mere anthology, “Beasts and Otherworldly Beings” is a somber, monochromatic collection, born from the artist’s engagement with the notorious “Inktober” challenge.
