This is my painting of an 1866 Lighthouse in its current state sitting on a 1.6 acre island in the Western Basin of Lake Erie, US that shares Ohio & Michigan jurisdiction.

Turtle Island

This auction is for the 30” x 15” Oil on Canvas Painting of “Worlds Within 01912” that is featured in Las Vegas during the NFTxLV 2023 event!
Worlds Within is an amazing project that minted in late 2021 and took my attention immediately. Each NFT from their project is a unique world that I have to admit I spent too many hours exploring! This Painting is from one of my favorite “spikes” terrain lands, and if the winner asks nicely I may send them the OG asset as well!
The painting is secured in the Oak Frame I custom build for each piece.
I am demonstrating the blending Web3 technology with physical art through pieces like this, as there is an RFID chip behind the canvas where the signature line is! Scan the chip with your mobile phone and you will be taken to the associated Digital Twin NFT. The winner of this auction will have the NFT transferred immediately to their wallet via smart contract. The NFT in the new owner’s wallet becomes immutable proof of ownership! 

If you win and you are at the event, I will hand it to you in person (and probably grab a photo). If you win and you are not there, I will mail it to you! 

In addition, the NFT is part of my collection of art, linked through the Policy ID, and included asset metadata links the owner with a growing community of collectors of my physical work.

Worlds Within 01912

This collection is being built by title "Brand Art" because I truly believe in the opportunity for NFT/Digital Art and Brand connection, especially with the integration of NFC/RFID technology.

Imagine a day when you enter an office and find an amazing fine art painting in the foyer, and then learn that you can scan it to get connected to the company, or even mint a copy of the art for yourself... and having the NFT now connects you with the company for any future utility, notifications, giveaways etc. etc. 

As this collection grows, so will it's utility options, so this one begins ;)

Brand Art

The source of inspiration for many of my paintings after entering the Cardano Blockchain sphere has been and still is renditions of my favorite NFT's and those I am commissioned to paint.

In 2022 I took my paintings to CNFTcon in Las Vegas to successfully sell them and engage with the community as a whole. 

I continue to paint NFT inspired work, either through commission or just because I love the place the OG art takes me. All of the work I do, tied to other projects, starts with direct communication with the project founders or artists which that has been an amazing experience in itself!

Part of this experiment & experience is the fact that every painting I complete get's minted as an NFT (like a traditional lithograph) into one collection, and the physical works get NFC/RFID chip linked to it's own collection. This provides proof of ownership, proof of sale, sales history, immutable connection to the artist community and that of the OG projects community, all through the associated and linked NFT!
