BASERMATTER

As an artist, I embrace the concept of "baser matter" as the fundamental and essential elements that define the core essence of each work. Once found baser matter represents a material to be explored and played with, where unexpected and emergent phenomena can arise, take shape, and transform. Baser matter as an idea allows me to stay connected to my raw and primal reactions to the work while maintaining focus on the core essence.
